6:30 The upper door panels in the front AND back are actually not hard pack. They are soft touch surfaces, just not dampened with a huge layer of foam. But on the doors it doesn't need to be super soft as long it is not hard plastic in my opinion.

Very precise, informative, and enough attention to details while covering. And of course understated, like the car itself. Very German! Liked a lot. Thank you.

What a pleasant surprise this updated model. Love the internal layout, old school yet modern. The light gray dashboard looks really refreshing and the presence of high quality knobs and switches is a welcome alternative to touchscreen only screens. The top-spec Q2 with its blackened rims really is menacing. Keep it up. Your reviews well balanced and flexible.

The outside looks good, but the rims on this spec really looking cheap. I'm no fan of chrome rims. Rather give them a blacked out treatment.

Is 1.5 tfsi comming with awd?

I'm 185 cm, I suffocate in this car, it presses from all sides. I have 20 cm for seaters behind me. At the same time, I feel quite comfortable in the VW polo even behind my self. This is a car for small girls

This car looks really old, who is buying it, German pensioners?

Nice to see car with old school buttons and volume control. I like them more too. Why that couldn’t be put on the new Golf or the A3? That "ipod" controller looks and feels a bit clumsy.

Strangely seems I'll be the first to point out that the back looks like the VW Polo. What is that long stick in the middle? Haven't seen a review of a car with manual transmission in ages.

Not the best time in German car history... Audi interiors from the Aldi market, bmw with bbq grilles... Time to wake up dear designers!

I actually love having the knob controlling the MMI: too many touch screens in new cars distract from driving. Also great to see a lower trim review :)

The DRL lights are ugly as heck, and they look real cheap as well! Not sure WTF Audi are doing with the DRL design on this generation of cars, but they sure lack the impressive design of older Audis. //Audi owner since 2014.

I love this facelift. The Q2 has made quite and impression on me since it's launch. Such a unique and different Audi model, especially in terms of design. Although the interior could've used an upgrade much like the new A1 and A3.

I can’t believe they didn’t upgrade the infotainment to Audi’s new version... Nor did they bother to redesign the centre console to fit a phone etc. What a lazy effort from Audi, literally just a new bumper bar!

I wonder which one I would like more-this or the new GLA. I already saw and drove the new GLA. Very nice and comfortable car. Much better than my older GLA. Personally, I would rather you review fully or highly equipped cars, because it shows me all that the car has to offer and how it all works in the real world. From there, I will pick and choose what I want and don't want. I typically buy (almost) fully optioned cars. But there is room for reviews of base trims, of course. These things are such a rip off & you know it’s made on the cheap cos the external door window frames are made of that rubber that prematurely deteriorates & coz of 14.7 million dollars in emission fines. Also the plastic section under the windscreen buckles up past the glass waaaay to easy.

OK I'm not sure if this video is from 2016. That interior is good but looks so old. Great work from Thomas and team as usual.

Der Q2 hat mich schon immer fasziniert, ist ein sehr Interessantes Auto, da ich mich auch für einen Touran, oder A6, und gleichzeitig A3, faszinieren lasse. Nun ja, hab mich immer noch nicht ganz entschieden, was meinen Phaeton ersetzt, aber der kommt in die sehr enge Wahl, besonders, da es einer der letzten ist, mit der OLD-School bedienung ist. Old-School..... Ich habe noch mitbekommen, wie das MMI auf dem Markt gebracht wurde.... man bin ich alt geworden.... Aber sehr schönes Auto! Ach ja, ich liebe deine Präsentationen, für mich eine der besten bei DEnewss.

Now in France we have a weight tax if the car is over 1600 kg every kg more is a 25 euros tax apart hybrids and full electric 1800kg this is crazy For exemple a BMW 520d have now a 5000 euro weight tax
