Really love the look of it. I drive a Mercedes cla amg line 2020 model with all the bells and whistles which is really really beautiful in my opinion but because I’m having my second child this summer Im gonna sell it and buy a enyaq .80.
Hoping they are going to bring out an all electric Octavia with 4wd

Because of the regen of the electric motors, brakes have minimal usage on EV’s so drum brakes are adequate for the vehicle, in fact the big problem with EV’s are the discs rusting up and pads can deteriorate as well because of minimum usage
4:24 it somehow reminds me of rav4.it looks nothing like that, but it somehow reminds that Toyota.
The Future : 2000 kilogramm Car's ???...Oh Oh...😣

Awesome car...!! I have draw cars on my youtube channel! Hope keep in touch🤩🤩
I think Skoda is the better VW. Or at least better looking. The bumpy road test in the end is of course performed to test if the car can be used in Belgium 🤪

beautiful car...
This car is everything that the BMW isn't.
It's a nice car, but not as special as the way people react.... the white of Skoda is a great colour though.
Tesla will continue to have hard times in Europe. Imagine VW move to more countries. They do not now because of not enough EV factories, but in 2021, 2022 ?

Early 2021: 300k ID3/4 from Zwickau, 300k + 300k from Anting & Foshan, 80k from Skoda Mlada Boleslav (Enyaq iV) plus 200k from Brussels (E-Tron), Zuffenhausen (Porsche), Böllinger Höfe (E-Tron), Bratislava (E-Up Mii & Citigo), Changchung (E-Tron) & Heifei (JAC IEV7s/ Sol E20X), Dresden (ID.3)
Dimensions of the boot-space of the Enyaq iV) would be useful. Thanks.
My next car.
OMG, the waiting period come's to an end. One of these cars will be mine. Can't sleep tonight. 😀
I definately like the looks. I'll stay with Tesla, but i'm excited to see Skoda is doing a great car that will attract many people!
So much better than the id4 well done skoda
Congratulations Czechia. 👏👏👏👏👏 This is going to be an incredibly successful car! I think I may leave Volkswagen and come back to Škoda
Well known brand still liking in 2020
You are the best of all

Awesome design..!!
I think the assembly process is simpler and quicker when producing electric vehicles. So, why are they so expensive? Just an electric engine and a battery, I don't understand.

Batteries are the expensive part.

Because we've all been brainwashed into wanting an electric car next & supply & demand = price hike. All companies do this. But it is an amazing looking car & I'll probably end up getting

They have to cover costs of developing new MEB platform, building new assembly lines. And batteries are still quite expensive. Plus initial demand will come from people who are eager to switch to EVs to save the planet. They are willing to pay more so why not charge them more
The Czech Republic has triumphed ever since breaking free of the Russian oppression.

Are you relating the acquisition of Skoda by the Volkswagen AG to that?
It looks very good. I hope the petrol version also will be available.
Josef V
Vor 2 Monate
This is the first all electric Skoda based on the new MEB Platform...and there are a lot of SUVs from Skoda having a petrol engine, like Kodiaq. This also means it has a smaller size and is bigger inside, since a pure ePlatform helps to get smaller cars in general.
David Uhlíř
Vor 3 Monate
Unfortunately not... because it's standing on MEB platform and it offers only electric engines
I thought it will be produced in Germany along with the other Id.4 variants. Does this mean even more than 300k/year production capacity in Europe?

@Ferenc Tóth Here they speak of 1350 units daily (x 220 working days = 300k cars / year) that will increase to 1500 units / day (330k cars / year) til the end of 2021 (when the last E-Golf has been built there). Sorry its in German :-) www.elektroauto-news.net/2019/vw-zwickau-kapazitaetsgrenze-elektroauto-auslastung second production line working in Zwickau from November: www.electrive.net/2020/11/10/vw-baut-in-zwickau-jetzt-auf-zwei-linien-e-modelle/ Here all 8 MEB production locations til 2022: www.electrive.net/2019/01/15/vw-baut-us-werk-in-chattanooga-zu-meb-standort-aus/ Emden production plans were 100k MEB cars - but VW decided to discontinue Passat sedan & Arteon which are being made there. So I expect them to make another 300k BEV models yearly there from 2023 or even earlier: de.motor1.com/news/457265/volkswagen-passat-limousine-aus-in-europa/

@Ni Viuk Your numbers are very interesting. Can you share your sources please? 1300 Cars/day is very high. That is 474.500/year if it would work every day (which is probably not the case) Is this 1300 produced in 3 shifts? And are they working 5 days per week?
Ni Viuk
Vor 2 Monate
@Ferenc Tóth The glasshouse manufacturing site Dresden does mount the ID.3 already. The Zwickau ID.3/ID.4 production ran on only one line with 650 cars/ day maximum until around Nov 4 when they finished the conversion of the second line. From then on they began to ramp towards the 1300 cars/ day target. According to a few dozen ID.4 buyers (posting in ID forum) the earliest delivery dates were promised beginning of January. Ramping and ironing out early production problems will take a lot of extra work - so I personally expect deliveries picking up speed somewhere mid January at the earliest. In the place where I live there's already daily camouflaged Audi Q4 E-tron to be seen. So I guess they will be entering the starting holes in Zwickau just a few months after ID.4 .
Ferenc Tóth
Vor 2 Monate
@Ni Viuk Yes, this was my knowledge about this too, except Dresden and Mlada Boleslav. What will be produced in Dresden? How fast will be the ramp-up in your opinion?
Ni Viuk
Vor 2 Monate
ID variants in Europe 2021: 300k Zwickau, 10k Dresden, 80k Mlada Boleslav. 600k in China (Anting & Foshan)
I thought it will be produced in Germany along with the other id.4 "variants".

@Tomáš Konkoľ hmm, saw the ID3 in Reality and the build quailty is very good. People often mix the kind of surface with build quality. The surface in ID3 is no pure plastic but soft varnish on it. They avoided the massive energy intensive Slush skin, which makes surface soft. Do you call a wooden furniture cheap?...No...but all call none soft surface cheap in cars. The Skoda Enyaq looks nice, no doubt, but built quality is for sure not better. For me, this is personal taste, Skodas are looking very nice the first time I see it, but as soon the next generation is coming out to market, the previous looks almost like antique...same for Seats. Not the same for VWs, even a 25 year old Golf IV still looks not like an old/antique car. The Design of VW seems to be boring at the first view, but much more durable in my opinion. This is why I personally prefer the ID4, too.
Tomáš Konkoľ
Vor 2 Monate
@Josef V and that good. Škodas interior quality its miles ahead of ID3 and 4. German's will cry if they compare the quality.
Josef V
Vor 2 Monate
No, "only", ID4, ID3, Q4 etron, and future Seats will be produced in Zwickau.
